Greensboro, NC (November 23, 2009)-The United Way Young Leaders of Greensboro will host a Christmas celebration for the 22 residents of Bell House on Saturday, December 5, 2009 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. The event is open to any young professionals in the community interested in making a difference this holiday season.
Highlights for “Deck the Halls at Bell House” include: tree decorating, holiday snacks, caroling, Christmas karaoke, an ornament craft and a toiletries and fun sock drive. The event will highlight the spirit of giving this Christmas.
Located in Greensboro, NC, Bell House is a residential facility for adults with physical disabilities. This United Way partner agency is one of several agencies and programs that the United Way Young Leaders of Greensboro support through volunteer efforts. Mary Margaret Hart, Young Leader Volunteer Committee Chair believes, “Deck the Halls at Bell House is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the mission of Bell House and share holiday fellowship with one another. The United Way Young Leaders are concentrating on volunteer efforts that focus around Helping People Help Themselves.”
