United Way RedI have eaten more heart-shaped food (or “food”) this week than I could have ever anticipated. The day’s coming this Sunday (you know what I’m talking about) and if you’ve stepped into almost any store, you’ve been met by a bulging display of reds, pinks, hearts and the cutest bears and frogs and dancing gorillas…wait, dancing what?

Valentine’s Day Random Fact:

We have a thing called…”United Way red.”

It’s true! See, I even made myself a little table.

If you are compelled to share your love for United Way but replacing all of your reds, here is the guide:

Color Name: United Way Red’s what we call it ’round these parts. (Excessive use of apostrophes, sorry.)

RGB: 254, 35, 10

Hex: #FE230A

Pantone: 179

CYMK: 0, 85, 89, 0

Hope you enjoyed today’s random fact! Stay tuned for some more ways to share the love this week as we beat the gusty winds to make it through Sunday–halfway through February already!
