The Caring Club
2009/2010 Caring Club® Program
Becoming a Caring Club® member is simple; donate $120 (that's only $10 per month) to United Way of Greater Greensboro's campaign in undesignated funds or funds designated to a United Way of Greater Greensboro member agency to receive a Caring Club® card. Show the card to any of the 48 local retailers and receive discounts on products and services for the 2010 calendar year.
As a card member you will have the opportunity to save hundreds of dollars in valuable services, food and entertainment. When you use your Caring Club® Card at Papa John's you will get your second large pizza free or use the card at Triad Lanes and you will get your second game of bowling free! Your manicure will be 20% off at Nails Nature when you present your Caring Club® Card. The card pays for itself over time and it is a statement that you are helping meet the community's critical needs and engaging in local business.
What does $120 do in Greater Greensboro?

$120 will give a financially disadvantaged girl the chance to participate in Core Camp with other Girl Scouts.
$120 will provide two weeks of food for sheltered clients -- who have no money and no food stamps -- through Family Service of the Piedmont's Victim Services.
$120 covers the cost to conduct depression or anxiety screenings for more than 50 people through Mental Health Association in Greensboro's Public Mental Health Education and Referral.
