Thank you for your interest in United Way of Greater Greensboro planned giving. Our hope is to serve you and your family with helpful information.
An increasing number of friends at United Way of Greater Greensboro are considering gifts in the form of bequests, charitable remainder trusts, gift in life insurance, outright endowments gifts, or one of the other types of charitable planned gifts.
Together, united, we can inspire hope and create opportunities for a better tomorrow. That is what is means to LIVE UNITED.
Purpose
The United Way Legacy Society recognizes loyal contributors who are planning for gifts today to the United Way that will provide significant benefit to our community in the future.
We hope you will consider becoming a United Way Legacy Society member. Those who join during this inaugural year, which extends to October 1, 2009, will set a leadership example for the future and receive special recognition. Please refer to the current list of inaugural members.
How do I become a member?
Simply let us know that you are considering a Legacy gift or outright gift to the United Way Endowment.
Gifts of any size quality for membership in the United Way Legacy Society.
A guideline you may wish to consider is to endow your annual gift (20 x annual gift amount).
- A $20,000 Legacy Gift will endow an annual Leadership gift of $1000
- A $200,000 Legacy Gift will endow an annual Tocqueville gift
