Mentoring Matters

African American Male Initiaitve

United Way of Greater Greensboro's Mentoring Matters initiative seeks to increase the number of mentors and improve the effectiveness of mentoring programs in the Greater Greensboro area.

By establishing a "Hub for Excellence", mentoring programs in our community will work together to increase the quality and quantity of mentoring relationships for youth. The Hub will also identify and encourage the use of common measures that are proven to be mentoring best practices.

There are currently hundreds of children in our community on waiting lists in need of a mentor. The need is great and the time to be involved is now.

Make A Difference.
