WHAT WILL YOUR LEGACY BE?

Planned Giving - Your Legacy to United Way of Greater GreensboroHow would you like to be remembered one day? The United Way of Greater Greensboro Endowment provides resources for a better tomorrow for the most vulnerable in our community. An increasing number of friends of United Way of Greater Greensboro are considering planned gifts in the form of bequests, charitable remainder trusts, gifts of life insurance, outright endowments gifts, or one of the other types of charitable planned gifts. Gifts to the Foundation ensure that our children and our children’s children will LIVE UNITED beyond our lifetime.

The United Way Legacy Society

The United Way Legacy Society recognizes and celebrates those forward-thinking donors who today are planning for gifts to the United Way that will provide significant benefit to our community in the future.

We hope you will consider becoming a United Way Legacy Society member.

How Do I Become a Member?

Simply let us know that you are considering a Legacy gift or outright gift to the United Way Endowment.

Gifts of any size qualify for membership in the United Way’s Legacy Society.

A guideline you may wish to consider is to endow your annual gift (20 x annual gift amount).

  1. A $25,000 Legacy Gift will endow an annual Leadership gift of $1,000
  2. A $250,000 Legacy Gift will endow an annual Tocqueville gift of $10,000

With your annual gift, you share your income.

With a Planned Gift, your share your assets: now…and in the future.
