United Way of Greater Greensboro Welcomes 2026-2027 Board of Directors

United Way of Greater Greensboro has announced its 2026–2027 Board of Directors, welcoming a group of community leaders who will help guide the organization’s mission to end poverty and create a thriving Greensboro.

Representing industries and organizations across healthcare, education, finance, nonprofit leadership, manufacturing, government, and community advocacy, the Board reflects the collaborative spirit and shared commitment needed to move Greensboro forward.

“At United Way of Greater Greensboro, we believe lasting change happens when people come together around bold goals and shared solutions. Our Board of Directors plays an important role in helping guide this work, bringing leadership, expertise, and a deep commitment to the future of our community.”

The Board helps steward UWGG’s strategic direction while supporting efforts to unite nonprofits, businesses, schools, funders, volunteers, and community leaders around solutions that help families build lasting stability and opportunity.

The organization also welcomed newly elected Board members and officers whose leadership and partnership will help strengthen UWGG’s continued work to mobilize the caring power of Greensboro in support of ending poverty.

United Way of Greater Greensboro also extends its gratitude to outgoing Board members for their service, leadership, and commitment to the community. Their contributions have helped strengthen UWGG’s impact and advance the organization’s mission to improve lives and create thriving communities.
