Storyteller Internship – Paid
Marketing and Communications is looking for a Storyteller Intern! ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: Reviewing submitted United Way strategic partner materials, Working with Marketing & Communications department staff to select organizations and programs, Scheduling and conducting interviews with selected organizations and recipients of services, Writing feature stories based on interviews that create an emotional connection and tie back to our work to end poverty in Greensboro, Submitting weekly progress reports to supervisor, Developing a final presentation for staff on insights and accomplishments of the internship. DELIVERABLES INCLUDE: Weekly Progress Reports (listing accomplishments and progress toward goals), At least 6 written feature stories, and Feedback to UWGG on internship experience. Development Manager
Development Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and analyzing fundraising processes that create growth in dollars raised to invest in solutions to reduce generational poverty in Greensboro NC.  The Development Manager will be assigned a portfolio of accounts totaling approximately to enhance relationships, cultivate and grow. The position is measured based on outcomes that lead to greater awareness about the work of United Way, donor engagement and increased contributions. Controller
The Controller will provide oversight and hands on management of all general ledger functions and perform critical financial analysis of revenue and expenses.
