WHEN YOU UNDERSTAND THE STRATEGY, 
YOU CAN HELP MOVE IT FORWARD.
United Way of Greater Greensboro leads by bringing clarity to complex challenges 
and aligning our community around the shared work of addressing poverty. Poverty is 
deeply interconnected, touching education, housing, workforce development, health, 
transportation, and family stability. Lasting progress requires coordination, trust, shared 
goals, and organizations committed to creating strong foundations and pathways to 
economic mobility.
In 2024–2025, our newly adopted three-year strategic plan guided how we made 
decisions, where we invested resources, and how we measured progress. Centered 
on four priorities — Brand Awareness & Market Penetration, Financial Growth & 
Sustainability, Thriving Community, and People & Operations — the plan provides a 
roadmap for strengthening partnerships, improving systems, and expanding pathways 
to stability for families across Greensboro.
